Neda is a first generation Iranian-American writer and director born in St. Louis, Missouri. She is currently pursuing an MFA in Directing from Columbia University, and is working as a Writers' Assistant on A Little Late with Lilly Singh.
As a writer, Neda's short films have played internationally at festivals like Venice, Telluride, Montreal, Cleremont-Ferrand, Tribeca, and Palm Springs.
Neda has taught undergraduate screenwriting and essay writing at Columbia University. Before attending Columbia, Neda earned a B.A. in Urban Design and Architecture Studies and worked as an architectural drafter, a Subway sandwich artist, and a tour guide in a French château.
